Beekenkamp Group and Selecta One sign long-term agreement
Beekenkamp Group has entered into a long-term, multi-year agreement with Selecta One for the exclusive production of propagation material in Uganda for its Deliflor Chrysanthemums and Beekenkamp Plants Ornamentals. The agreement reflects both parties' shared ambition for a sustainable, long-lasting partnership built on stability, continuity and security. The agreement was signed at the Beekenkamp location during Flower Trials 2026.
The collaboration between Beekenkamp Group and Wagagai extends nearly 25 years. Over this period, Wagagai in Uganda has developed into a key production hub for high-quality propagation material for Beekenkamp Group, including cut chrysanthemums, begonias (both indoor and outdoor), celosia and poinsettia.
Following the recent acquisition of Wagagai by Selecta One, a strengthened platform for future growth has been established. By combining the knowledge, scale and expertise of both family businesses, the partnership will be further strengthened while both organizations retain their own identity and market approach. As before, all parties continue to operate independently in the market.
"This long-term agreement underlines the trust we have built together over decades," Marc Driessen, director of ornamentals at Beekenkamp Group, said. "The combination of Selecta Wagagai's strong footprint and the international expertise of both our organizations creates a solid foundation for the future. It enables us to secure continuity, quality and innovation for our customers worldwide, with Uganda as a strong production base."
