Duda Farm Fresh Foods brings radishes to consumers in new, high-graphic packaging
Duda Farm Fresh Foods, headquartered in Oviedo, FL, is currently promoting its “Radishes Reinvented” radish products, and will be featuring the line at the New York Produce Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center North Hall on Dec. 2-4.
“We will be exhibiting at Booth No. 602 at the show,” said Nichole Towell, marketing director for the company.
“And we want to tell visitors how to reduce their radish shrink,” she continued. “‘Dandy’ fresh-cut radishes are available year-round for retailers’ nutrition and convenience seeking shoppers.”
Duda Farm Fresh Foods’ new, colorful, high-graphic radish packaging line supports the company’s new ‘Totally Radishes’ campaign. The “Radishes Reinvented” line consists of three exclusive cuts. The packages are easy to display and rotate. Towell noted that the new package design is appealing to consumers, provide a valuable 17-day shelf life and are perfect for salads, tacos, sandwiches, garnishes, side dishes and more.
“Our packaging was designed by consumers,” said Towell. “After extensive research and testing, our new fresh-cut radish package design reflects what consumers most identified with. They love the black package and contrasting colors. Top mentions focus on the new packages being fresh, healthy and convenient.”
She added that when choosing between mostly clear packaging with more color and details, consumers gravitated towards packaging that contained more color and design.
“Overwhelmingly, consumers wanted to buy products with ‘Grown in the USA’ stated clearly on the package,” Towell noted.
