AFM promoting 'Best Game Ever' and co-branded partnerships at United Fresh
Avocados from Mexico is inviting retailers and wholesale partners to team up with the top-selling avocado brand at the 2014 United Fresh Show June 10-13 in Chicago.
Retailers that visit the Avocados from Mexico booth (No. 437) will get a preview of upcoming fall and winter promotions, including two new co-branded partnerships that leverage the excitement around football and tailgating.
"As the market share leader and only brand that produces avocados year round, Avocados from Mexico is committed to growing the category and building continued excitement around the brand," Alvaro Luque, president of Avocados from Mexico, said in a press release.
Avocados from Mexico recently rolled out a new brand and category-building formula that is expected to drive more avocado sales, more frequently. The new formula delivers on the following five pivotal areas to ensure continued growth and success: delicious taste, superior freshness, always in season, good for you and authenticity.
In addition to highly integrated programs for valued partners and consumers, Avocados from Mexico is placing renewed focus on the Hispanic market as evidenced by the current "Best Game Ever" promotion that celebrates soccer's biggest match.
The "Best Game Ever" promotion will be showcased at the Avocados from Mexico booth during the United Fresh show. Attendees will have the chance to win soccer gear, sample Game Day Guacamole samples and view a live feed of the big soccer game on Thursday, June 12.
Avocados from Mexico is also co-sponsoring the United Fresh opening party June 10 in Millennium Park that will feature a unique DIY guacamole bar.

Retailers are invited to meet the Avocados from Mexico team at United. Senior management and regional directors will be on hand to provide additional insights and information on fall and winter programs.
