Manfredi Cold Storage is a family-owned and operated third-party logistics company that provides temperature-controlled storage, repacking, refrigerated freight and other services to the produce industry.

Currently, the company has a few exciting projects underway. “We just opened our 20,000-square-foot dry warehouse building that will store packaging for all of our customers here in our Kennett Square facility,” said Jaclyn Manfredi. “We are also under construction of a 5,000-square-foot drivers lounge and cafeteria for drivers and our employees.”

The new drivers lounge will feature kiosks for automated check-in on the first floor and a second-floor cafeteria will offer daily menus, prepared foods, snacks and coffee.

“Construction is also underway at our Kennett Square facility adding infrastructure for an additional 2,000 pallet positions,” Manfredi said. “The site work at our Pedricktown location is now complete for an additional 10,000 pallet positions. All electric and refrigeration infrastructure is in place.”

Once the Kennett expansions are completed, Manfredi Cold Storage will move immediately to construct space for an additional 2,000 pallet positions bringing the total to 8,000 pallets and then it will add another 15,000 square feet of packing area.

“The construction of the additional 8,000 pallet positions will start once we have secured a new customer for this space,” Manfredi said.
