MyLand participating in inaugural World Living Soils Forum
MyLand Co. LLC will contribute to the inaugural World Living Soils Forum June 1-2.
The World Living Soils Forum aims to highlight effective solutions to conservation and regeneration of soils in viticulture and agriculture. The forum, which will be held in Arles-en-Provence, France, will be an open and participative forum where scientists, researchers, growers and various experts from around the world will come together to exchange their knowledge and discuss the preserving of biodiversity, tackling climate change and minimizing water consumption.
The preservation of the Living Soils is one of Moët Hennessy’s major commitments in terms of sustainability. MyLand was invited as one of eight start-ups globally to be featured in the Innovations Lab along with Cropx, Telaqua, Baker Consultants, Mycophyto, Biome Makers, Soil Capital, Husk and Trinity AgTech.
Along with the participation in the Innovation Lab, Kristine Nichols, MyLand’s principal scientist and research director, and featured scientist in the Kiss the Ground documentary will be speaking at the forum’s Protecting Our Soils: An Imperative for the Living Plenary Session as well as the Measuring Soil Health Workshop. Representing MyLand at the Innovation Lab will be Elizabeth Kucinich, vice president of industry and government affairs, and Shelley Baugh, senior director of marketing.
