SuperValu draws 6,000 to fifth National Expo

SHOW-FLOORST. PAUL, MN  — On July 24-26, SuperValu transformed the RiverCentre, here, into what Jeff Swanson, the company’s vice president of communications, described as “the largest supermarket you’ve ever seen.” The SuperValu 2018 National Expo covered 133,000 square feet of exhibit space with more than 600 vendors and drew more than 6,000 attendees. New this year was an entire hall dedicated specifically to ethnic, natural, organic and specialty products presented by SuperValu’s Market Centre. The fifth annual National Expo featured a full schedule of events focused on education, inspiration and innovation to help retailers gain business insights, drive sales and better serve its customers.
