FPFC hosts annual Holiday Luncheon & Charity Auction

The Fresh Produce & Floral Council hosted its annual Holiday Luncheon & Charity Auction Wednesday, Dec. 6th at the Sheraton Cerritos. This cherished tradition brought together over 270 industry leaders and supporters for a festive occasion that not only celebrates the holiday season but also makes a significant impact on two deserving organizations: Brighter Bites and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.

The FPFC Annual Holiday Luncheon & Charity Auction has become a hallmark event in the fresh produce and floral industry, embodying the values of generosity, community and collaboration. This year more than $55,000 was raised to benefit Brighter Bites and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.

The FPFC extended special thanks to event sponsors Grimmway/Cal-Organic Farms, MIXTEC Group, Calavo, Bard Valley Date Growers, Idaho Potato Commission, Mixed Nuts, Oppy, PK Packaging, Veritiv, M&M Farms, Frieda’s and North Shore Living Herbs + Greens.

The next FPFC event will be held at the Castlewood Country Club on Wednesday, Jan. 24 and will feature a retail panel with participants from Fred Meyer, Raley’s and Sprouts.
