FPAA gathers for 52nd annual convention

TUBAC, AZ – The Fresh Produce Association of the Americas convened for its 52nd annual convention Nov. 4, here, at the Tubac Golf Resort. Following a day of networking and educational sessions, attendees gathered for an evening of camaraderie, laughs and live music at the event’s opening reception at this historic venue located just north of Nogales, AZ.

The National Mango Board, a major sponsor of the 52nd annual FPAA convention, was represented by Gabrielle Smith, Luis Saldarriaga, Cindy Schwing, Tammy Wiard and Executive Director Manuel Michel. The NMB featured its new logo and branding.

The FPAA convention featured a panel discussion that included FPAA President Lance Jungmeyer as moderator, and participants Tom Stenzel of United Fresh, Christian Murillo of Cactus Melon Distributors, Leonardo Tarriba of Farmers Best, Chris Ciruli of Ciruli Bros., Sabrina Hallman of Sierra Seed Co., and Craig Slate of SunFed.
