“Lily’s Organic Farm salad greens are an inspiration of love and hope for a better world tomorrow,” said Adrian Paco, president of the Salinas, CA-based company. “Our salads are a ray of sunshine to things that truly matter. Yes, less packaging is important, yes, the conservation of our natural resources is important, but what is more important to remember to love, respect and encourage one another every day while we are here on this earth. This is true sustainability.”
Therefore, the message the company looks to relay in every home is that The Salad Farm “plants seeds of love and kindness for you, your family and our world in every retail value-added salad produced.”
There’s an inspirational and motivational message for positive change behind every package available by the company, in a variety of organic salad blends in four different pack sizes. And that message is “a healthy salad for the body and the heart.”
Although The Salad Farm is relatively new to the retail sector, it is already seeing positive increases year to year.
“The main core salads are our organic spring mix, organic baby spinach, organic wild arugula and organic baby kale with our 6x1-pound pack showing the most growth,” Paco said. “Lily’s Organic Farm salads also offer a 50/50, Super Energy, Baby Romaine & Herb Blends to nicely compliment the four core salads.”
The company has implemented its same stringent foodservice specifications into the retail line and proud of the extended shelf life it is seeing due to high-quality baby lettuces and breathable clamshells that ensure great arrival dates to the customer and consumer.
The Salad Farm partners with the Community Food Bank of San Benito and Yuma Community Food Bank in making sure salads not sold go to a worthy cause. The Salad Farm is also partnering up with a local church in Hollister, CA offering Thanksgiving boxes to families in need this upcoming holiday.
“This is a start for us in getting further involved in giving back to our local communities,” Paco said. “Not only do we want to spread a great message but want to be an example of it. The Salad Farm hopes to partner up with distributors and retail chain stores that convey or want to convey the same message, planting seeds of love and kindness for a better world tomorrow.”
