Lipman showcasing cutting-edge varietals at Southern Innovations
Lipman Family Farms is looking to inspire attendees at the Southeast Produce Council's Southern Innovations Show in Charlotte, NC. With the introduction of two new products, Lipman will be showcasing its dedicated emphasis on innovation and technological progress at this year’s event.
Lipman Family Farms has increasingly invested in new technology and innovation, but most importantly in its talent. “I’m committed to tapping into the potential of the people of Lipman and fostering an environment for innovation and growth in order to meet the future needs of the produce supply chain,” said Elyse Lipman, CEO of Lipman Family Farms.
“My role is to create runways for our best-in-class team of operators and problem-solvers to thrive,” she said.
Throughout its 75-year history, Lipman has cultivated an atmosphere that nurtures innovation, dedicating resources to both talent and new technologies to further product innovation. With its uniquely vertically integrated model and partnerships across R&D, Lipman continues to keep a pulse on products with highly sought-after consumer qualities, including rich flavor and vibrant color. Its dedication to innovation has led to its latest introduction of two exciting, flavor-centric tomato varieties to the market.
During SEPC’s Southern Innovations, attendees will be able to see for themselves these award-winning tomatoes. The Monet Red, recipient of the prestigious 2023 Superior Taste Award from the International Taste Institute, will be featured in the innovation showcase. Visitors to the Lipman booth No. 633 will have the opportunity to taste both the Monet Red and the Bellavina tomatoes, also a 2023 Superior Taste Awards winner.
