Jason Brown speaks at SEPC’s Good Seeds MENtor session

Jason Brown, a man of faith, a former professional athlete and a community advocate, spoke to more than 300 men at the Good Seeds MENtor session on Friday afternoon, March 7. The session was part of the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure 2025, held March 6-8 in Orlando, FL. The mission of the Good Seeds MENtor Program is to plant seeds that will encourage industry leaders with faith-based principles in the workplace, at home and in their communities.

When his dreams of becoming a professional hockey player came crashing down due to lack of talent, Craig Levitt turned to journalism. He graduated from Hofstra University in 1992 and has covered various areas of the retail food trade since 1996. Craig joined The Produce News in 2017 and is now managing editor. In his spare time, Craig still plays men’s league hockey (poorly) and enjoys walking the aisles of his favorite supermarket with his wife and two daughters.
