The Fresh Produce and Floral Council held its annual Charity Auction and Luncheon on Dec. 7, 2022 at the Sheraton Cerritos in Cerritos, CA. Bryan Presley of Albertsons was the master of ceremonies with additional auction hosts including Shonna Williams of Cardenas Market and Marvin Quebec of Quebec Distributing Co.
A silent auction began while attendees gathered for the luncheon and a post-event social hour occurred immediately following the luncheon where friends and colleagues joined each other for cocktails.

The Fresh Produce & Floral Council held its 16th annual Northern California Golf Tournament on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at the Course at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, CA. The tournament boasted 144 players with four on-course demo stations. The first place team was Bob Borda, Erick Proffitt, Daniel Russell and Michael Antongiovanni of Grimmway Farms; the second place team featured Jeff Knight (Edge Sales + Retail Services), Mil Mijanovic (Safeway), Rich Thompson (Giumarra) and Geoff Ratto.

The Fresh Produce & Floral Council held its second annual Luau, A Mahalo Celebration, on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach, CA. All attendees enjoyed an evening of Lokelani’s Hawaiian dancers with a special fire performance, limbo contest and Hawaiian shirt contest.
The next FPFC event will be the December luncheon and charity auction on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at the Sheraton Cerritos in Cerritos, CA.

The Fresh Produce & Floral Council held the annual City of Hope Membership Luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at the Sheraton Cerritos in Cerritos, CA, where council members helped support City of Hope programs and raised over $140,000 for the City of Hope. The next FPFC event is the second annual FPFC Luau, A Mahalo Celebration, on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach, CA.

The Fresh Produce & Floral Council held its annual golf tournament July 19 at Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin, CA. The sold-out event celebrated its 30th anniversary.
After a full day of golfing, FPFC Chair Kori Martin of Oppy and Golf Committee Chairs Bill Laliberte of WJL Distributors and Shonna Williams of Cardenas Markets recognized the winning teams at the awards ceremony.

PASADENA, CA — The Fresh Produce & Floral Council held an elegant 2022 Dinner Dance at the Speakeasy at the Langham, here, on Saturday, May 21. With over 230 members in attendance, the council celebrated the incoming and outgoing board of directors and the passing of the gavel from the 2021 Chair Sean McClure of Professional Produce to 2022 Chair Kori Martin of Oppy.
