Scattaglia Growers & Shippers packing peaches full of Autumn flavor

Scattaglia Growers & Shippers, a company that prides itself on its stone fruit, is finishing the season strong with the Autumn Flame yellow peach.

These peaches are not only notable for their size, color and flavor, but also for the aroma they release when they reach room temperature, filling kitchens with a fresh and sweet fragrance. While late-season peaches may be a bit more golden than summer peaches, they remain bursting with flavor.

As fall arrives, it's the perfect time for fresh peach dishes, spreads and desserts, and consumers are eager to find peaches to complete their favorite recipes. Well-known ways to enjoy peaches include grilling them for a savory side dish, adding them into salsas and salads, making homemade jam or blending them into a fruit smoothie.

The peaches can also be frozen to enjoy the flavor all year long, even after the stone fruit season ends.

To make the most of these autumn peaches, SGS offered this peach dessert recipe.
