Organic Produce Network announced the addition of Rachelle Schulken to its team in the newly created position of vice president of events. Schulken brings extensive event planning and marketing expertise to her role and will oversee the growth of the Organic Grower Summit.

The National Mango Board has named Dan Spellman as its new director of marketing.

Spellman, who officially joined the Orlando, FL-based organization on Feb. 21, brings more than 20 years of marketing experience to the board, having previously worked in the online travel and technology development fields. He also has had experience working with large membership associations during his career.

The Eastern Produce Council's John J. McAleavey Gala was a magnificent night with great food, music, dancing and excellent company. Dancing and desserts were had after happy hour  with a Beatles tribute band. The council's largest fundraiser of the year was a massive success, according to EPC Executive Director Susan McAleavey Sarlund and Vice President Theresa Lowden.
