The Produce News does not currently collect any registration information from our web site and/or e-newsletter users.  However, we do collect information regarding your visit such as web pages visited, referral web pages, browser used, etc.  This information is used solely by The Produce News as we strive to improve our web site and the user’s experience.  We do reserve the right to request registration information, such as user name, company, and job function, in an effort to personalize the user experience or to send periodic emails.  

We implement a variety of security measures to safeguard any information or data that we may collect from you or with regard to your visitation.  We offer the use of a secure server that is accessed solely by those authorized with special access rights to our systems.  We are required to keep all information and data confidential.  

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.  This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our web site, conducting our business, or providing customer service, so long as those parties agree to keep this information and data confidential.  We may also release your information, if it becomes necessary, to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or to protect ours, or others, rights, property, or safety.  However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party information on our web site.  These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies.  We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content or activities of these linked sites.  Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these third party sites.

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act and we therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

We are in compliance with COPPA, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, and we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age.  Our web site, products, and services, are all directed toward business professionals who are over the age of 13.
