Teri Miller joins Freshouse
Freshouse, based in Salisbury, NC, has hired Teri Miller as business analyst and customer development specialist.
Miller brings 16 years of experience in the produce industry, specializing in category management and procurement. She has worked primarily on the retailer side, both at Food Lion and The Fresh Market, forming relationships with leading produce companies and growers.
Miller’s in-depth knowledge of the produce industry from a retailer perspective will support the Freshouse sales team with product launches, pricing and new business initiatives for both the Fresh from the Start brand and private label brands.
In this new role at Freshouse, Miller will act as a liaison between the Freshouse sales team and their retailer customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
“Teri’s experience on the retailer side will bring us invaluable insights and enable us to better service our customers and grow our business,” said Jamey Friedman, president of Freshouse. “Her strong communications skills, produce expertise and long-standing relationships will be an incredible asset to our team.”
Miller’s experience also includes nine years as a member of Southeast Produce Council board of directors, holding the presidency during 2017. She is also the executive founding member of Southern Roots, a SEPC program that provides support and mentorship for women working in the produce industry.
“On top of her vast produce knowledge, we are excited for Teri to bring her experience in education, communication and mentorship to Freshouse,” Friedman added.
Miller is currently on board with Freshouse and is based in Salisbury.
