NEPC announces 2022 scholarship awards
Tom Murray, president of the New England Produce Council board, recently named the 2022 NEPC scholarship recipients at the 22nd NEPC Produce, Floral & Food Service Expo Keynote Luncheon.
The James and Theresa Family Foundation board selected Vincent Burke Gordon as its 2022 scholarship recipient. Gordon is the son of longtime NEPC member Shayne Gordon of CA Ferolie. Gordon is starting his freshman year at the University of Kentucky, studying marketing and business management.
This scholarship was established to memorialize Jim Nolan, who took an ethical stand on a business matter at a great cost to himself. Theresa has been an NEPC board member since 2010 and has been a valuable member. She will be relocating and resigning from the NEPC board of directors; however, she will continue her philanthropy with NEPC and this scholarship.
"We will greatly miss Theresa and wish her all the best with as she begins this next chapter of her life," NEPC said in a statement.

- Isabella Braciska (mother, Erica Braciska of Shaw's Supermarkets
- William Domineau (father, Seth Domineau of Don Shapiro Inc.
