Matt Marchand joins the Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers
Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers named Matt Marchand as the new public affairs and policy analyst. With an extensive background in business, government and community engagement, Marchand brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of leadership and innovation to the OGVG.
Marchand holds a master's degree in economics and political science from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His academic background is complemented by an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor, which has aided him in his previous roles as president and CEO of the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce and most recently as a consultant for IG Wealth Management.

As the new public affairs and policy analyst, Marchand’s new role will be essential in providing insights and recommendations that help shape effective and impactful public policies at all levels of government to support Ontario greenhouse vegetable farmers. His new role will be a key pillar of the organization to ensure we are effectively communicating with policymakers, stakeholders and the public to share the contributions of the greenhouse vegetable sector in Ontario.
