JOH adds produce business manager in Pittsburgh-Cleveland region

JOH, a leading independent food broker based in Billerica, MA, hired Julia Costanza as a produce business manager in the Pittsburgh-Cleveland region.

Costanza brings a decade of experience in the food industry, with a strong background in produce buying, forecasting and category management. She began her career working on the produce order desk at a large Mid-Atlantic-based customer, and later as a produce buyer’s assistant, managing multiple categories, negotiating orders and overseeing financial billing.

Most recently, Costanza served as category assistant manager at Melissa’s World Variety Produce, where she played a key role in planning and executing strategies across all areas of retail operations including budgeting, sales, logistics and marketing.

“Julia comes to us with a wealth of industry knowledge and hands-on retail experience, making her a fantastic addition to our produce team,” said Brian Maguire, executive vice president of produce at JOH. “We’re thrilled to welcome her to the JOH family. Welcome aboard, Julia!”

Outside of work, Costanza loves baking, cooking and beach trips with her family. She and her husband are proud parents to five children — including two sets of twins — and enjoy entertaining and sharing great food with family and friends. Costanza can be reached at [email protected].
