Camposol CEO resigns

José Antonio Gómez Bazan, who has served as CEO of Camposol since September 2021, has resigned from the Lima-based multinational company, effective Monday, June 3.

Samuel Dyer Coriat, current chairman of Camposol's board of directors, will assume the executive chairmanship of the board of directors, while Ricardo Naranjo, current CFO of the company, will assume the role of CEO on an interim basis.

“We have every confidence in [Naranjo’s] ability to lead the company through this transition and maintain our ongoing commitment to efficiency and excellence,” Camposol said in a statement.

Likewise, the DC Group Strategic Corporate Center team will provide close support and provide full support to the interim CEO to ensure a successful transition.

Naranjo is a civil industrial engineer with a master's degree in business engineering and finance from the Adolfo Ibánez University. He also has an MBA from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has extensive experience in industries such as agriculture, logistics and port services, maritime agency, wine, aquaculture and manufacturing.

“We remain committed to our objectives and guarantee that our activities and service to our clients will continue to be developed with the same efficiency and quality that have always characterized us,” Camposol added in the statement.

Regarding the departure of Gómez, who spent a total of 13 years at the company, Camposol said, “We thank him for his dedication and leadership and we wish him the best in his future professional endeavors.”
