ADS Management adds sales manager for foodservice business

ADS Management, parent company of leading produce companies Freshouse, Hapco Farms, Barnwood and MR Farms, has hired Christian Boucher as a senior sales manager. Boucher will be focusing on growing the company’s foodservice customer base on the East Coast.

Boucher started his career as a chef in the hotel restaurant industry, which exposed him to food vendors across different categories. After 25 years as a professional chef, he moved to into sales for a large foodservice vendor. In this role, he helped chefs create menus and source product. Boucher then became the produce specialist for this company and was instrumental in growing sales in this category.

“I like to work closely with category managers and gain insights and how and what they buy,” said Boucher. “This helps me better understand what customers need immediately as well as seasonally.”

Boucher will be servicing his customers with the company’s East Coast-grown product, which includes broccoli, carrots, onions, potatoes and wet vegetables.

“Our locally grown product will be delivered to our East Coast customers fresher and at lower freight costs,” said Boucher.

“Adding Christian to the sales team fills a hole we had in the company,” said Karl Ronhave, director of sales at ADS Management. “This is an area of the business we are looking to expand and Christian has the experience and connections to help us grow this category.”
