Fresh Solutions Network to spotlight Side Delights at OPS

Fresh Solutions Network will showcase its Side Delights organic potatoes and onions at the 2025 Organic Produce Summit, taking place July 9-10 in Monterey, CA. FSN partners Basin Gold Cooperative (Pasco, WA) and the Masser Family of Cos. (Sacramento, PA) will represent FSN at the event.

sdfOPS is dedicated entirely to the organic fresh produce industry, providing a focused platform for growers, shippers, processors, retailers and buyers to engage directly on trends shaping the sector.

“We’ve participated in OPS since its beginning in 2016, and we’re proud to return again this year as an exhibitor and a sponsor of the Organic Roots cocktail reception,” said Kathleen Triou, president and CEO of Fresh Solutions Network. “This event reflects the importance of organic produce to today’s consumers and the opportunities it presents across retail and foodservice.”

The organic category continues to gain momentum. According to 2025 Retail Insights data, U.S. natural organic food sales reached a record $110.75 billion in 2024, representing more than 10 percent of the nation’s $1.073 trillion food retail market. Continued consumer demand for health, transparency and sustainability is driving growth across fresh categories.

At this year’s show, FSN will feature its full Side Delights organic portfolio, including Russet, red and yellow potatoes as well as organic onions in multiple varieties and sizes. The company emphasizes its shopper-friendly packaging solutions, including BioFlex sustainable bags, combo mesh and recyclable poly options for potatoes. Organic onions are available in colossal, jumbo and medium sizes across red, yellow and white varieties.

Triou said packaging innovation plays a growing role in meeting consumer expectations: “The Side Delights brand extends naturally into organics by delivering high-quality produce in packaging that reflects both sustainability and value.”

Industry research released in June 2025 highlights sustainability, transparency and digitalization as key growth drivers in the organic sector. Clean-label ingredients, eco-friendly packaging and traceable supply chains are becoming increasingly important to consumers, particularly as interest in packaged organic produce continues to grow.

Fresh Solutions Network's family-owned partners continue to invest in farming practices and packaging solutions that align with these evolving preferences. “As a network of growers and marketers, we’re committed to advancing innovation that supports our customers’ success and connects with today’s consumer priorities,” Triou said.
