Opening reception kicks off 2017 New York Produce Show
NEW YORK — The 2017 New York Produce Show kicked off Tuesday evening, Dec. 12, at the New York Hilton, here in Midtown Manhattan.
"Every year the show gets bigger, every year the show gets better," Eastern Produce Council President Vic Savanello told The Produce News during the opening reception. "The conferences have been filled to capacity so far."
The breakfast session will take place Wednesday morning, Dec. 13, during which the council will announce that it is launching a leadership program in conjunction with Rutgers University, said Savanello.
The trade show will open right after the breakfast session. Both events will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on Manhattan's West Side.
