Offshoot Brands launches new products in time for OPS

Offshoot Brands was launched in late 2021, growing from the team that built Love Beets, an industry leader of value-added beets.

“We’re now using our foundation and unique skillset to expand our expertise by bringing further fresh, innovative, and convenient better-for-you products to consumers and retailers nationwide,” said Natasha Lichty, marketing director for the St. Conshohocken, PA-based company. “The evolution of Offshoot Brands reflects our expanding portfolio of exclusive healthy lifestyle brands of not only Love Beets, but further brands including Genuine Coconut, Veggie*Confetti, and The Happy Snack Co.”

Offshoot Brands currently sells organic products from both its Love Beets and Genuine Coconut brands.

“Our organic Love Beets products include Organic Sliced Perfectly Pickled Beets, Organic Classic Vinegar Marinated Baby Beets, Organic Vacuum-Packed Cooked Beets, and Organic Beet Juice,” Lichty said. “Our organic Genuine Coconut products include Organic Drink + Eat Coconut, Organic Coconut Chunks (in regular, vanilla, and caramel), Organic Coconut Chips (in peanut butter, cocoa + vanilla and vanilla) and Organic CocoKids Vanilla CocoBits.”

The company launched its new and improved packaging this spring for its ready-to-eat Marinated Baby Beet flavor, Organic Classic Vinegar (previously named Organic Mild Vinegar).  

“The revamped label design features a bright logo and beet illustrations, preferred product name, detailed flavor descriptor, and prominent usage suggestions that provide clear cues to consumers,” Lichty said. “The refreshed product is USDA Organic, vegan, gluten-free, verified non-GMO, OU kosher, contains, no preservatives or added sugars, and comes in a convenient, resealable container. We’re also excited to launch our best-selling Perfectly Pickled Beets in an organic offering this summer.”

Additionally, the company will launch its Genuine Coconut CocoKids Organic Vanilla CocoBits soon. The Coconut bits are made up of freshly peeled organic coconut meet, vanilla flavored, and offered in a 2-ounce pouch, perfect for on-the-go snacking.

“Whether it’s in our internal teamwork, our relationships with our brand partners, or our personal lives, our philosophy is that together we grow better,” Lichty said.

The team at Offshoot Brands is heading to the Organic Produce Summit and will be at booth No. 724.

“Our team will be sharing ready-to-eat products from our healthy lifestyle brands, Love Beets and Genuine Coconut, including Organic Perfectly Pickled Beets, Organic Classic Vinegar Marinated Baby Beets, Organic Coconut Chunks and Organic Beet Juice,” Lichty said.

“We’re also very excited to talk about our expansion of Veggie*Confetti pickled vegetables that add bold color and big flavor to bowls, salads, tacos, toasts, burgers, and more. Just sprinkle them on to make every meal feel like a pickled celebration. The line currently includes Pickled Onions, Pickled Jalapenos, Pickled Carrots, and Pickled Cabbage.”
