NOA names director of public and industry relations

The National Onion Association, based in Greeley, CO, announced that Kim Reddin has been selected to direct the association?s onion promotion and membership efforts. Ms. Reddin officially began her duties on Dec. 20. She replaces Tanya Fell, who left the association in the fall for a position as vice president of the Texas Produce Association.

NOA President David Rietveld stated, "We are thrilled to have Kim come on board. She is a quality individual with an outstanding work ethic that will dig right in where Tanya left off. The future of the NOA is very bright indeed with staff such as Kim working on behalf of our industry."

?We feel very fortunate to have Kim Reddin on board to represent the NOA as the public and industry relations director," said immediate past President Bob Sakata. "She has inherited a deep-rooted passion for the agriculture industry being a lifelong alumna of 4-H and FFA and having a bachelor of science degree in animal science and agribusiness. Kim will be a great asset to the onion industry."

?I am very honored and excited about representing the National Onion Association," said Ms. Reddin. "I look forward to learning a lot about onions and meeting and serving the association members for the continued success of the industry."
