“Spice World is excited to be part of the show and is focused on offering consumers flavorful and convenient products that will make their meals more memorable with the rollout of multiple new products,” said Jon Buchwald, the company’s director of sales.
Chris Kiser, the CEO, said that the company takes its role as a market leader in garlic very seriously. “After seven decades, we are known as America’s Favorite Garlic,” he noted. “We plant and harvest our fresh garlic, and we manage the end-to-end value chain for all value-added offerings to ensure they are always of the highest quality. We are especially thrilled to bring our new Fresh Diced product to market which will be a major focus for us as we enter the New Year.
Buchwald added that consumers have told company officials they love the way the products add bold and convenient flavors to their meals. “We have expanded into onions, shallots, ginger and seasonings blends to offer consumers more options for easy, flavorful meals and we will continue innovating in the future,” he said. “The products we will showcase at the New York Produce Show continue our long-standing tradition of bringing consumers innovative, convenient and flavorful products that elevate their meals.
“Spice World products are fresh and convenient and work in a wide variety of cuisines, especially Asian, Caribbean and Latin cuisines that combine garlic and ginger for bold flavors,” Buchwald continued. “Our garlic, onion and ginger options help provide a great variety of meal options for consumers.”
Buchwald highlighted a few new products that will be showcased at the event. He said that the Garlic & Ginger Fusion Seasoning Blend is available in an 8-ounce jar and features a blend of garlic and ginger that can be added to soups, dressings, marinades and salsas or used to add extra zing to top pizza, pasta, steaks, chicken wings or other proteins. It is the newest addition to the Seasoning Blends line that also includes Chili Onion Crunch, Italian Herb & Garlic and a traditional Italian Pesto. The new Refrigerated Peeled Ginger comes in a 7-ounce resealable pouch and features pre-peeled ginger that saves busy cooks time by removing the outer skin in advance.
Recently-introduced Refrigerated Fresh Diced Garlic is available in a 5-ounce resealable pouch and is designed to add a zesty flavor to a wide variety of dishes, including marinades, soups and dressings. The new Easy Onion is available in a 9.5-ounce squeeze bottle as well as a 16-ounce jar.
“Spice World’s DNA is built around high-quality, year-round supply and delivering outstanding customer service,” Kiser added. “Both of these pillars underpin all we do and have allowed us to become the trusted partner in our category with our retail partners. We will continue our focus on an unwavering commitment to quality and consistency to ensure Spice World remains on the cutting edge of innovative flavor. Customers have high expectations for both and they are considered non-negotiable entry points. On top of that, we will pursue and drive innovation to stay ahead of what consumers want. We continuously monitor the latest flavor trends and our internal R&D team is building a pipeline of new products to meet the culinary needs of consumers for years to come.”
