Setton Farms will be exhibiting at the New York Produce Show this year at booth No. 237, where members of its sales and marketing teams and its Northeast broker team will be sampling new products and discussing plans for 2024.

“Our company’s roots go back to Brooklyn, where the Setton brothers first entered the world of gourmet foods,” said Joseph Setton, executive vice president of Setton Farms. “They grew their business into its current state with the help of partners we still work with today. The New York Produce Show helps foster long-lasting partnerships between suppliers and retailers throughout the Northeast region.”

At the booth, Setton Farms will sample its Tajín Seasoned Pistachio Kernels, the newest addition to its award-winning line of premium pistachios.

“One of the most versatile and loved spices, Tajín Clásico is a unique combination of chili peppers, lime, and sea salt that blends perfectly with the delicious taste of our family’s California-grown pistachios,” Setton said.

It will also showcase its new Pistachio Pub Mix, which Setton noted “takes your everyday bar snack to the next level.

“Our premium Buffalo Wing Seasoned Pistachio Kernels mingle perfectly with crunchy ranch corn nuts, savory sesame chips, and hickory almonds,” Setton continued. “Together, they’re a delicious snack to complement any thirst-quenching beverage.”

For pistachios, 2023 has seen the continued growth of seasoned kernels. Setton Farms’ award-winning line of seasoned kernels includes zesty Tajín, bold Buffalo Wing and spicy Scorpion Pepper, which have been growing consumer demand for pistachios.

This past year has also been a huge one for Setton Farms as a company. Following a record-breaking crop, the company has more pistachios for its private label, branded and bulk businesses.

“The demand for our unique line of value-added snacks continues to grow, and we are happy to accommodate retailers with our award-winning line of Seasoned Pistachio Kernels with seven flavor profiles,” Setton said.

As such, the company is bringing unique, top-selling items to the New York Produce Show.

“Each item is available in an eye-catching display with crisp graphics and health callouts to draw consumers’ attention,” Setton said. “Our newest display is unique because it houses a wide range of our premium pistachios and can hang from existing quarter pallet bins or shelving units, saving precious floor space.”

In 2023, Setton Farms expanded its line of premium pistachios by opening a fully dedicated USDA organic-certified facility.

“With retail and bulk lines, Setton Pistachio’s outstanding quality offerings will now include SKUs in the rapidly growing organic category,” Setton said. “It continues our family’s philosophy of thoughtfully expanding our operations while using sustainable methods to drive all our efforts. Retailers can now offer a 7-ounce Roasted Salted Organic Inshell Pistachio and a 5-ounce Roasted Salted Organic Pistachio Kernel.”

Setton Pistachio continues to grow as a company alongside the industry.

“As more pistachio trees are planted in California’s Central Valley, we are expanding our storage, roasting, and packing operations to remain one of the leaders in the pistachio industry,” Setton said.
