NEPC announces new venue for 2022 expo

The New England Produce Council Inc. has announced that the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is the new venue for its 2022 Produce, Floral & Food Service Expo, scheduled to take place Aug. 24-25.

sdfThe Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is a destination venue that will host both the trade show exhibits and the overnight guest rooms. The convenience of having exhibits, guest hotel rooms, keynote address, educational sessions and networking events under one roof will be great, noted NEPC Executive Director Laura Sullivan.

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is located in the center of the bustling Seaport District, across the street from the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, steps away from downtown Boston and Boston Harbor, and less than three miles from Boston's Logan Airport. The hotel boasts 1,054 finely appointed guestrooms, including 52 suites, and 100,000 square feet of flexible function space. There are plenty of amenities at the hotel, including seven distinct dining experiences, a scenic rooftop pool and chic Breve Spa.

The NEPC board of directors and the Expo Committee are excited to announce this new venue for the 2022 NEPC expo. "We look forward to seeing you in Boston this summer," said NEPC President Tom Murray, who is vice president of produce and floral at Roche Bros.

Moving from the Hynes Convention Center (the 2021 venue) to the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport will offer much convenience for exhibitors and attendees alike, but space is limited, and early registration is highly recommended to secure booth space. The exhibits will include eight feet by eight feet booths inside a luxurious ballroom setting. Hosting this event in August will enhance the destination feel and showcase summertime in historic Boston.

More details will be coming soon regarding the program schedule.
