NBC and POM Wonderful team up again for ‘American Ninja Warrior’
NBC and POM Wonderful announced their partnership for the eighth season of “American Ninja Warrior.” POM returns as partner of “American Ninja Warrior” for a second year featuring on-air integrations, a consumer-focused digital sweepstakes and an off-channel consumer activation including in-store and social promotion.

“We are thrilled that POM Wonderful is returning to ‘American Ninja Warrior,’ one of our strongest summer series, for a second season campaign,” Sari Feinberg, senior vice president of network partnerships for NBCUniversal, said in a press release. “This partnership shows how a like-minded, health-driven brand like POM can tap into the value of a strong franchise like ‘American Ninja Warrior’ and create deep connections with it’s passionate fan base.
During each episode of the season-long partnership, POM branding will be integrated throughout the episode, including the POM Crazy Healthy Run of the Night, which will feature the ninja who delivered the most jaw-dropping feats of strength, agility and speed navigating the obstacle course, and POM post-run interviews to keep up with contestants behind the scenes.
Additionally, on-air spots promoting POM’s Crazy Healthy campaign will run weekly during “American Ninja Warrior” episode airings.

Viewers can get crazy healthy with the first American Ninja Warrior champion, Isaac Caldiero, by entering POM Wonderful’s online sweepstakes, “Train Like a Crazy Healthy Ninja.” One grand prize winner will be selected for a trip to Venice Beach, CA, to train alongside Caldiero, win $10,000 to support a Crazy Healthy lifestyle, and a one-year supply of POM.
From June 1 to Sept. 12, fans can enter online at NBC.com/POM. In addition, fans can watch videos of Caldiero’s Crazy Healthy Training tips on POM’s Facebook page beginning in mid-June. New videos and tips will be posted throughout the summer.

The action-packed “American Ninja Warrior” series follows competitors as they tackle a series of challenging obstacle courses in both city qualifying and city finals rounds across the country. Those who successfully complete the finals course in their designated region move on to the national finals round in Las Vegas, where they face a stunning four-stage course modeled after the famed Mt. Midoriyama course in Japan.
The winner will take home a grand prize of $1 million.
Caldiero is the first grand prize winner of “American Ninja Warrior.” Matt Iseman returns as host, along with former NFL player Akbar Gbajabiamila (NFL Network) and Kristine Leahy (FOX Sports) as co-hosts.
