Tip Murphy Legacy Golf Tournament a win for United Fresh Start Foundation

Cart-6Attendees at the 10th annual Tip Murphy Legacy Golf Tournament teed off Monday, Aug. 27 at the Oasis Golf Club outside Cincinnati. Retail and produce attendees enjoyed an afternoon of golf, networking, and an auction and raffle drawing, while celebrating Murphy’s legacy of service to the industry. Proceeds from the event will benefit the United Fresh Start Foundation, supporting their work in schools and communities to increase children’s access to fresh fruits and vegetables. The 2018 winning foursome was the team from T. In previous years, the Tip Murphy Legacy Golf Tournament has helped the foundation provide salad bars to 17 schools, while supporting the success and visibility of other initiatives, such as the foundation’s Community Grants Program and School Foodservice Forum.
