Windset Farms celebrates Canada's Agriculture Day
On Feb. 11, Windset Farms joined the industry in celebrating Canada’s Agriculture Day. The company said it is a proud member of the agriculture industry and stands united with its fellow Canadian farmers.
Windset Farms is a family-owned Canadian company that was founded in 1996 by John and Steven Newell. Their passion for sustainable agriculture has led to some incredible achievements, including a recent expansion that allows for year-round growing in beautiful British Columbia. The 48-acre LED-lit greenhouse facility provides communities with delicious and nutritious Canadian-grown produce 365 days a year.
Windset said it is grateful for the hard work of everyone who made this achievement possible. Windset’s new expansion enhances its food production and further contributes to food security and availability of fresh, locally grown produce in its communities.
"As a Canadian family business, we are honored to raise our forks to the food we love and the people who work so hard to produce it," the company said. "We are proud to be part of Canada’s agricultural story, and together we are making a difference."
