Potandon names new CFO
“Potandon welcomes Darin to his role as CFO of our company," said Mel Davenport, CEO of Potandon Produce. "Darin will be a key part of our Senior Management team as we move Potandon towards an even more significant role in the fresh produce sector. We are excited to have someone of his talent level joining our company.”
Patrizi joined Potandon in July 2021 as CFO and is responsible for leading the company’s finance/accounting, legal, information technology, and human resource functions.
Prior to joining Potandon, Patrizi spent 24 years with Pepsico providing financial leadership to several business units across retail and foodservice channels. Darin led teams who were responsible for redesigning Frito Lay’s product classification system to simplify pricing execution and data maintenance activities, implementing a foodservice sales insights system which helped the team identify growth opportunities, and negotiating several national customer trade agreements to ensure pay-for-performance targets were met.
Prior to joining Pepsico Patrizi was CFO of Business Jet Solutions, an aviation services joint venture of American Airlines and Bombardier. Patrizi was responsible for establishing all financial policies procedures and led development of a proprietary decision optimization support system to predict demand and optimize aircraft availability.
Patrizi holds an M.B.A. from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and has served on the Board of Financial Executive International’s Dallas Chapter for the past 25 years.
