This year has been all about adapting to the new challenges we’ve been facing on all fronts. From the changes in foodservice due to the pandemic, to the recent fires and heat waves we’ve experienced in the valley, there have been a lot of obstacles the industry has had to overcome. As a result of these factors, the demands and needs of the shopper have shifted. With convenience and value being higher than ever on the priority list for shoppers, we hope Ready Sides will provide them with the shopping solution they’re looking for.
Putting customers’ needs first has always been a driving force behind our company initiatives and is one of the main reasons why we have such a broad offering of products for customers to purchase. We have spent considerable effort this year in new product development and plan to keep advancing on that front. While foodservice has been — and will continue to be a major part of our business — we do see a great opportunity to bring our strengths to retail.
As we adjust to different challenges and needs, we also need to adjust to new platforms and ways to communicate within the industry and with our customers. All the tradeshows have done a terrific job at creating these virtual spaces where we can share and promote our products and offerings. PMA Fresh Summit is a very important show for us, especially now as we are dipping more into the world of retail, so being able to share our products and to have a lot of creative freedom within the virtual platform is fantastic.
We hope our PMA Fresh Summit marketplace offers people the chance to familiarize with our range of product offerings, both foodservice and retail. Ready Sides is the main focus for us at this year’s show, as we’d like to direct all our attention toward showing customers that we are doing our part to provide them with the products they need and want.
