Growers Express reorganizes sales department

SALINAS, CA " To better facilitate fulfilling customers? needs, Growers Express has reorganized its sales organization into two departments: Sales & Marketing and Product Management.

Reporting to Vice President of Sales & Marketing Woody Johnson will be Gary Andreasian, Merritt Bruce and Michele McNeece in the newly created positions of account managers, where they will work with current customers and identify and target potential customers. Mr. Bruce and Ms. McNeece will concentrate on domestic accounts, while Mr. Andreasian will focus on Asia-international customers.

Debbie Schweiger will assume the newly created manager of sales administration position. She will develop and implement sales and management reports among other tasks. Marilyn Seeley as manager of marketing services will implement advertising and trade promotions among other tasks.

Ken Adams will assume the newly created position of director of product management. He will continue to manage Iceberg lettuce.

Reporting to Mr. Adams will be the following employees with their new titles: Gary Andreasian as product manager of broccoli (in addition to account manager), Keith Bobholz as product manager for vegetables and berries, John Corea as product manager for vegetables and herbs, Marty Johnson as product manager for vegetables and onions, Bob Ligon as product manager for leafy vegetables, Paul Mocettini as product manager for cauliflower, Ernie Robles as product manager for asparagus, Bill Vargas as product manager for lettuces, Robert Leonard as manager of transportation and purchased produce, Tami Gutierrez as inside sales and customer service representative, and Shannon Nunez and Sally Stogden as sales coordinators.
