Columbine-Four Star partnership sets the stage for growth

Columbine Vineyards, a part of the AC Foods family, announced a partnership with Four Star Sales Inc. to meet the increasing demands of the fresh table grape industry. The collaboration will allow both companies to further the reach of their portfolio of table grape varieties, including their branded proprietary varieties.

Both Columbine and Four Star have industry-leading varieties, respected marketing initiatives, aligned customer objectives and terrific management teams to deliver for the category and customers. Columbine Vineyards has been focused on and investing in its farming organization and practices to ensure great product quality and this effort will allow both organizations to lead the category in sustainability efforts.

Together, Columbine Vineyards and Four Star Sales Inc. bring significant scale to the category, becoming one of the largest suppliers of both conventional and organic grapes in the industry. Strong long-term relationships with retailers are a key to success and the companies will together deliver industry-leading volumes along with a strong assortment of grape varieties across 52 weeks and as well as beloved brands such as Holiday and Pristine.

Four Star Sales Inc. has been in table grape production since 1987 and has been family-owned-and-operated for three generations by the Campbell family. Fields are located throughout the San Joaquin and Coachella Valley, as well as Mexico and the company has invested in innovation to lead in sustainability. Four Star’s in-house sales team has over 100 years of combined experience and is committed to providing the best grapes to retail customers, consumers and the community through high quality standards, innovation and a proactive respect for the earth. This strongly complements Columbine Vineyards which was founded in 1926 in the San Joaquin Valley and has been at the forefront of advancements in energy-saving technologies and resource conservation, and recently became one of the first Sustainably Grown-certified table grapes producers in the US.
