Kopke Fruit: A one-stop, global produce solution

Kopke Fruit, a leading importer of fresh fruit from around the globe, is looking forward to reconnecting with friends and forming new relationships at this year’s IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show, taking place Oct. 27-29 in Orlando, FL.

“Our industry is built on relationships, and there are very few produce events on the scale of the IFPA,” said Tyler Wolowicz of Great Neck, NY-based Kopke. “The value of having a centralized location where we can strengthen our partnerships while discovering new synergies is immeasurable.”

Kopke will be showcasing its family of companies and respective brands at booth No. 5557 during the trade show. Various members of its sales, marketing and operations teams will be on hand to meet and greet with attendees.

“After two years of COVID-19, we are very much looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and partners and developing new relationships,” Wolowicz said.

Kopke handles grapes, citrus, cherries, stone fruit, pears, apples, berries, pomegranates, dried Greek figs, chestnuts, kiwifruit and mangos. All items currently in season, Wolowicz noted, are performing well and Kopke has experienced growth in all categories.

As a fourth-generation family business with a vertically integrated supply chain and global marketing capabilities throughout North America and Asia, Kopke has made significant logistic investments, including distribution centers on both coasts, new automated packinglines, and its own trucking company, to become a one-stop produce solution.
