The inaugural invitation-only IFPA Communications Conclave will be held on Oct. 27. The IFPA members-only session is dedicated to senior executives and public relations and communications professionals who champion the industry and fuel the voice of fresh.

“The power of an association is its members, and we are thrilled to bring the PR and communications professionals together this year,” said Lauren M. Scott, chief strategy officer for IFPA. “They fiercely defend their organizations, complementing the work of the commercial sales, marketing and brand teams while tackling a myriad of industry issues. The conclave will facilitate learning and foster connections with kindred spirits.”

Industry leader Bruce Taylor, IFPA board chair and CEO of Taylor Farms, will keynote the Conclave’s opening luncheon. His vision and dedication to the industry will leave everyone inspired and ready for action. Senior leaders and PR communications professionals are welcomed.

Later in the afternoon, the conclave continues with the Practitioner’s Intensive, a hands-on working session for public relations and communications professionals to discuss the latest issues, connect and galvanize together.

After the conclave, members are encouraged to stay informed and active throughout the year.  An IFPA Comms Connect session will commence on Jan. 12.

“We are poised to drive affinity for the industry and increase consumption with consumers,” said Scott. “By dreaming big, channeling our frustrations, and sharing with each other, there is no stopping what the industry can do.”
