New English garden roses join Alexandra Farms’ David Austin wedding roses collection
Alexandra Farms has announced the addition of two new English garden rose varieties to its David Austin Wedding Roses collection for 2025: Enid and Phoebe. These highly anticipated roses, over 12 years in development, represent a blend of timeless beauty and unique characteristics, making them standout choices for floral designers and wedding professionals alike.
Enid
Enid is a striking and confident rose with a true cream hue accented by pistachio green outer petals and a distinctive green stamen at her center. Featuring a deep cup shape and ruffled petals, Enid is both bold and refined. Her fragrance is a delicate rose perfume, softly layered with a touch of myrrh.
Phoebe
Phoebe embodies quiet elegance. As it blooms, it reveals a radiant rosette of flamingo-pink petals that transition from a coral-toned center to gentle shades of apricot and soft pink. Though petite in size, it is full of strength and character. Its fragrance is light and enchanting—fruity and floral, with notes of violet and red apple.
Alexandra Farms continues its commitment to discovering and cultivating exceptional garden roses. Each variety undergoes rigorous testing to ensure it meets the farm’s high standards, including a vase life of at least 10 days. These roses are nurtured, harvested and shipped with meticulous care by the Alexandra Farms team in Bogotá, Colombia.
