Education remains a central pillar of the event. The Floral Bootcamp, set for June 4 at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, will offer a full day of rapid-fire sessions focused on topics such as AI in floral departments, consumer behavior, and floral merchandising. The day will feature keynotes, roundtables, and a certificate presentation, aimed at providing practical insights for floral professionals navigating both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning.
“Floral Bootcamp is inspired by the need to equip floral professionals with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills to thrive,” Callahan said. “We’re responding to what attendees have told us—they want more actionable education focused on current challenges and future trends.”
Those future trends will also be addressed in the 2026 Trends Forecast, a session that explores shifting consumer motivations, emotional buying patterns, retail strategies, and global influences shaping the floral marketplace.
New for 2025 is the Floral Insight Breakfast, which will address tariff policy and its implications for the floral supply chain. “Tariffs continue to impact pricing and logistics across the sector,” noted Callahan. “This session will give attendees a clearer view of how to protect their margins and make informed sourcing decisions.”
In addition to education, the event continues to invest in experience-driven networking. Signature gatherings include the Golden Hour Cocktail Party on June 4 and the Flori After Dark Cruise Party on June 5—a neon-themed yacht cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway. These events are designed to offer casual, high-impact networking opportunities for retailers, growers, wholesalers, and suppliers.
On June 5–6, the show floor will open at the Broward County Convention Center with over 150 exhibitors spanning categories from fresh cut flowers and potted plants to technology, design tools, and care and handling products. According to Callahan, the exhibitor mix reflects both the core of the industry and its evolving needs. “We’re seeing more tech-forward exhibitors entering the floral space, and the conversations around AI and sustainability are gaining momentum,” he said.
A returning favorite, the Iron Designer Competition, will also take place on June 5, giving attendees a front-row view of live floral design under pressure. The competition highlights both artistry and technical skill and continues to be one of the most well-attended features of the show.
Floriexpo has also introduced new partnerships, including with the Association of Floral Importers of America (AFIA), aligning with shared goals around waste reduction, customer satisfaction, and product freshness.
Attendee amenities have also been enhanced. “We’re creating memorable moments on the show floor,” said Callahan. “From an all-day complimentary barista bar to a fresh-baked cookie machine for afternoon Happy Hour, we’ve built in thoughtful touches that elevate the experience.”
According to Callahan, feedback from past attendees has been instrumental in shaping this year’s event. “They asked for more education, so we built out the Bootcamp and added the Tariff session. They value networking, so we’ve expanded those touchpoints. And they want efficient buyer-seller interaction, which remains a core priority for us.”
For attendees planning to participate in education sessions or special events, early registration is recommended. “I urge potential attendees to register early to take advantage of early bird pricing and stay informed as we continue to announce more program details,” Callahan added.
Floriexpo 2025 is expected to draw buyers from mass market retailers, chain stores, e-commerce platforms, and wholesale distributors, creating opportunities for both large-scale and niche suppliers to connect directly with key decision-makers.
