Details Flowers Software partners with Floral Greens Farmers of Florida

detailsDetails Flowers Software announced a new partnership with Floral Greens Farmers of Florida, representing some of the state’s finest foliage growers. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to local connections, sustainable sourcing, and the people behind the floral products that bring designs to life.

Floral Greens Farmers of Florida was formed in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew, which struck the eastern coast of Florida on Oct. 8, 2016. Though discussions about a cooperative had already begun, the storm’s devastating impact made unity and collaboration a necessity. Many of the cooperative’s members are second-, third-, and fourth-generation farmers with deep roots in Florida agriculture. In response to the disaster, they joined forces to rebuild, support one another, and establish high standards for the products they market together. Since then, they have worked to promote Florida- and American-grown greenery both nationwide and internationally.

This partnership aligns with Details Flowers Software’s mission to provide florists with direct access to high-quality, reliable products. Through this collaboration, Details members will now have expanded access to a broad selection of Florida-grown greens, including leatherleaf fern, aspidistra, monstera, pittosporum and seasonal specialties cultivated across the Sunshine State.

“We are excited to partner with Details Flowers and bring all of its members information and access to our beautiful, American Grown greenery. With the recent fluctuating tariff market, we want all American florists and wholesalers to remember our farming roots in the USA," said Toni Clair, marketing & compliance administrator of Floral Greens Farmers of Florida. "The Floral Greens Farmers of Florida and other floral greens and flower farmers across our country have proudly served this industry for over 80 years. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help florists discover more of the incredible floral greens available through our collaboration with Corrine and the Details Software team.”

“This partnership is all about celebrating the beauty of Florida and the growers who make it possible," Corrine Heck, founder and CEO of Details Flowers Software. "We’ve always been passionate about connecting florists with dependable, high-quality sources and there’s no better way to do that than by supporting the farms right here in our own backyard in Volusia County, FL.”

Florida ranks among the nation’s top producers of cut greenery, and Floral Greens Farmers of Florida continues to champion this legacy by raising awareness of regional growers and educating the floral community on the benefits of sourcing locally. Locally grown greenery not only offers unmatched freshness and texture but also supports a more sustainable floral supply chain.

Partnership Highlights:

• Expanded Visibility
Florists and event professionals can now browse a dedicated Floral Greens Farmers of Florida Collection within the Details Item Gallery. This new feature simplifies the process of finding, selecting and incorporating standout foliage into proposals and recipes, giving designers quick access to the greenery they need to enhance their floral creations.

• Personal Connections with Growers
Floral Greens Farmers of Florida provides an inside look into the lives of the growers through exclusive website content. From in-depth interviews and written profiles to behind-the-scenes videos, florists can connect with the heritage and expertise of the farmers growing their foliage—adding a personal touch to every stem used.

• Support for American Agriculture
By emphasizing U.S.-grown products, the partnership helps strengthen a more efficient and environmentally responsible floral supply chain. Local sourcing reduces transportation emissions, minimizes logistical delays, and helps sustain domestic farming communities. Supporting American farms means investing in freshness, quality, and the future of floriculture.

Together, Details Flowers Software and Floral Greens Farmers of Florida are redefining how florists access and appreciate greenery—by celebrating its roots, honoring the growers behind it and championing a vibrant, sustainable future for the floral industry.
