Quality and innovation key for Bard Valley Date Growers

Bard Valley Date Growers played host to buyers, importers, and other partners in the trade with their 2022 harvest tour. The two-day educational tour featured date harvesting, quality control, packing operations and innovative products.
Attendees visited multiple date gardens in the Bard, AZ, region, learned about harvest techniques and practices; even harnessing up mounting the lifts and picking dates themselves. During facility tours visitors were instructed on date grading, based largely on stages of ripeness, and hit the sorting line, doing their best to keep up.
Well thought out and widely praised, the tour exposed key players in the industry to just how unique Bard Valley Dates truly are.
