Instacart has appointed Chris Rogers CEO, effective Aug. 15, at which time he’ll also join Instacart’s board of directors. Fidji Simo, Instacart’s current CEO, will remain chair of the board, helping to ensure a smooth transition.

Sinclair, a global leader in fresh produce labeling systems, has been announced as a finalist in The Grocer Gold Awards 2025. This nomination comes as an industry recognition for its breakthrough T55 home and industrial compostable fruit sticker, which has been considered by many as the future of fruit labeling.

Mission Produce's four-count retail-ready mango bag hit shelves at multiple major retailers this winter, and early results show it’s doing more than selling well: it’s lifting the entire mango category. At one leading East Coast retailer, the results showed a 13 percent increase in dollar sales, a 25 percent increase in volume and no cannibalization of bulk sales. 

GLC Cerritos, an importer-distributor of avocados, is now shipping from Jalisco. This marks the earliest harvest date for fruit from that Mexican state.

Last year marked the 90th anniversary in business for R&R Flaim Next Generation Produce, a leading grower in Vineland, NJ.
