Cottle Farms continues to expand
Since 1964, Cottle Farms Inc. has developed an excellent reputation for growing, shipping, importing and distributing high-quality berries. Today, the company continues to expand in acreage, as well as regions offering strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, organic blueberries and muscadine grapes.
Although berries are at the root of where Cottle Farms’ story began, the company has continued to expand into so much more. Growing and marketing year-round fresh vegetables with an equally excellent reputation for high quality, including Bell pepper, summer squash, hard squash, hot pepper, cucumber, pickling cucumber, eggplant, beans and grape tomatoes. Cottle's vegetables are grown fresh and offered in both packaged and bulk packs.
Also, under the Cottle Farms Inc. umbrella, Cottle Strawberry Nursery Inc. produces strawberry plants at their nurseries located in Canada and North Carolina. These plants are sold on the East Coast to a wide variety of strawberry growers.
At the beginning of the pandemic, Cottle Farms Inc. continued to provide Direct Store Delivery solutions for over 300 individual stores located in central and eastern North Carolina. It has its own trucks and drivers dedicated to supplying fresh fruits and vegetables grown by Cottle Farms Inc. and other local growers in a thriving local program. This program continues to expand each year and solves a tremendous need in its local community.
Cottle Farms Inc. has an extensive fleet of local owner-operators, as well as its own trucks and drivers that allow dependable deliveries to customer partners.
The company owns and operates three fresh and two frozen facilities in North Carolina.
