sdfIn October, leading asparagus importer Farm Direct Supply is partnering with the National Breast Cancer Foundation on an asparagus retail promotion to raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer.

“Farm Direct Supply is proudly partnering with National Breast Cancer Foundation to raise awareness and inspire change surrounding breast cancer,” said General Manager Chris Horrell. “By purchasing our special Pink Tag asparagus, available throughout the month of October, you're supporting vital research, awareness initiatives, and resources for patients, survivors, and their families.”

Horrell reported that the retail community is very enthusiastic about the FDS campaign “because it aligns with their values and enhances customer relationships.”

He believes the promotion of the Pink Tag asparagus creates a unique opportunity for retailers to participate in a meaningful cause, driving both sales and community support.

This is the third year that Pompano, FL-based Farm Direct Supply has worked with NBCF as it strives to amplify the impact of the effort throughout October and beyond. “Our employees also participate by packing Hope Kits,” said Horrell, explaining that they are care packages designed to provide practical support and lift the spirits of those facing the difficult journey of breast cancer. “Each year, we are increasing our contribution to this initiative to make a greater impact and bring comfort to more individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment.”

Horrell urged others in the industry to get involved. “Together, we can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. For more information, reach out to our dedicated sales team or visit our campaign page: https://farmdirectsupply.com/nbcf/.”
