ORLANDO, FL — The Southeast Produce Council welcomed the fresh produce industry in early March to its flagship event, Southern Exposure 2025, where attendees enjoyed a wide array of educational and social activities while celebrating the significance of family meals and the importance of eating together.

The Southeast Produce Council tied in the importance of family with Hawaiian spirit at its signature Southern Exposure event March 6-8, 2025, at the Orlando World Center Marriott. Just as ohana means family in Hawaiian, Southern Exposure once again proved — beyond a shadow of a doubt — that the produce community is a one big family.

Following educational sessions and a keynote address, the show floor was packed as attendees filled the aisles for more than six hours.

The 2025 SEPC Southern Exposure opening reception once again brought together the produce “family” for a good time on Friday, March 7 at the Orlando World Center Marriott. This year’s theme was inspired by the warm and inclusive spirit of Hawaii. Featuring Hawaiian-style food and fare, reception attendees mixed and mingled as they wound down from a day of educational sessions and prepared for the next day's exhibition.

Bay Baby Produce was founded based on president and founder Michele Youngquist’s passion for farming and marketing. It has grown over its 25-plus years to become a go-to company for hand-painted pumpkins and unique ornamentals.

The company will be attending Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure this year to connect with its current customers, network with new ones and build meaningful relationships within the industry.
