The International Fresh Produce Association’s annual Foodservice Conference is always a premier opportunity for produce companies to meet with buyers from across the foodservice sector.

Basciani Foods is excited to reconnect with the produce industry at the upcoming International Fresh Produce Association’s The Foodservice Conference, taking place July 28-29 in Monterey, CA.

“COVID-19 has delayed a lot of events in the past few years and curbed Basciani Food’s attendance at shows,” Joseph Basciani, chief financial officer of the Avondale, PA-based company, told The Produce News in early July.

With more than 1,700 registrants, a sold-out trade show featuring more than 150 exhibitors and a robust educational program, the 2022 Organic Produce Summit was an unmitigated success. The aisles were full from the opening bell on Thursday, July 14, until the doors were shut about five hours later.  There were more than 300 retailers in attendance and the excitement level was sky high.

The Organic Produce Summit kicked off July 13 with an opening reception at the Monterey Conference Center. The evening, sponsored by Starr Ranch and Divine Flavor, brought together some of the 1,400-plus attendees who will make this year's OPS the largest show in its history. After the opening reception some attendees headed to afterparties hosted by Awe Sum Organics, Organic Girl and Braga Fresh.
