Bob Freeman to lead sales at Onions Etc., Modi Apple

Onions Etc. and Modi Apple USA, divisions of JJB Farms, have announced Bob Freeman as director of sales. With more than 18 years of experience managing produce accounts throughout the United States, Freeman has a solid background managing retail and wholesale clients.

Freeman's extensive professional background includes management positions with Yorkshire Foods (Del Monte Dried Fruit), Mariani Packing, Fresh Gourmet and most recently Fresh Express. He is an established leader with expertise in brand development, marketing and merchandising, as well as administrative expertise in strategic sales for both commodity and branded growth.

“We are thrilled to have Bob join Onions Etc. / Modi Apple USA to share his knowledge and expertise with our team,” said Derrell Kelso, president. “Bob’s experience and unique perspective, paired with his leadership style is exactly what our brand needs for continued growth.”

As director of sales, Freeman will help shape and develop Onions Etc. / Modi Apple USA brand growth with retailers and consumers. Freeman will work closely with the team to create and promote new ideas and concepts, in addition to developing sales growth strategies.

Born and raised in Stockton, CA, Freeman is a graduate of Fresno State Ag Business. He and his family reside in Ripon, CA.
