Kim St. George joins Renaissance Food Group as VP of business development

Renaissance Food Group announced that Kim St. George has joined the company as vice president business development. In this role, St. George will work to develop a strategic plan to support existing business channels while focusing on new growth opportunities as they align with overall company goals and initiatives.kim

St. George comes to RFG with over 25 years of experience in the produce industry within the Salinas Valley. She received her bachelor's degree in agricultural and managerial economics from UC-Davis. Her background in sales and marketing includes brand strategy, communication, customer engagement, product development, and packaging expertise in the value-added retail and club markets. Prior to RFG, St. George served as director of sales and marketing at Mann Packing Co. Inc., where she worked directly with U.S. and Canadian customers to develop and manage the company’s value-added private brand and club portfolios. She has also held marketing roles at Taylor Farms Retail and River Ranch Fresh Foods.

St. George actively gives back to the produce industry through involvement on various councils and planning committees. She currently serves as vice chair of United Fresh’s Produce Marketing & Merchandising Council and previously served on Fresh Produce & Floral Council’s Northern California Committee, multiple PMA committees, and UC-Davis Cal Aggie Alumni Association Board of Directors.

St George’s role with RFG began on April 1, 2019. She will report to James Naaman, senior vice president of national sales.
