Kingdom Fresh Farms names Jaime Garcia as general manager

On the eve of Kingdom Fresh’s next tomato season peak, the company named Jaime Garcia as its new general manager. A vet inside Kingdom Fresh, Garcia plans to continue expanding the company’s presence throughout the marketplace as well as its market share.

“I am confident Jaime’s leadership will nurture the growth we are looking to have in the upcoming seasons; his market knowledge and industry experience will guide the company in the right direction," Alberto González, Kingdom Fresh’s chief executive officer, said in a press release.

“Furthermore, I am confident in Jaime’s deep knowledge of the company, as he has grown with it, having sales, operations, logistics and farming understanding. He was the best choice, a young talent with an all-around background that will help us achieve our future goals,” González said.

Garcia joined Kingdom Fresh as growers relations and procurement in 2008. Prior that he had already been working closely with the company on different projects. He was later appointed as operations manager and ultimately in sales.

“I welcome this new challenge and I am thrilled with the possibilities it represents,” Garcia said in the release. “We have a great team of professionals and I am sure we will continue our steady growth.”

Garcia has played an important role in the company's success, building new connections with growers and customers.

“We foster people to grow up with the company, and Jaime is the type of people you want to foster to continue growing,” said Gonzalez.
