Ball Horticultural Co. wins Best in Show booth at FarWest

Ball Horticultural Co. captured the Ted Van Veen Best in Show booth award at the 2018 FarWest Show Aug. 22-24 in Portland. The company won for its vividly-colored booth packed with flowers and brightly lit displays, including a display of energy-saving LED grow lights, according to a news release.

“Our judges loved this booth in particular, but there are many booths that are simply must-see. Visiting FarWest really gives you a complete picture of the industry — both the growers that raise great trees and plants, and the suppliers and service providers that help make it possible.”

The FarWest Show serves professionals engaged in the nursery industry and related trades and is produced by the Oregon Association of Nurseries, a trade organization that represents and serves the interests of the ornamental horticulture industry.

Any revenue realized from the FarWest Show is reinvested into the industry through education, research, marketing support and government relations.

Ball also captured a Best of Division award for Best Island Booth, Grower.
